Teen Has Resorted To Wearing Hoodies To Stop Her Mom From Photographing Her

'The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo' Madrid Premiere

These days plenty of parents like to post pictures of their kids all over social media, and it’s even worse if that mom is an "influencer." But what happens when those kids grow up? Well, one 16-year-old daughter of an influencer has taken drastic steps to stop her mom from ever posting a photo of her again.

The girl shares that her mom is a popular mommy blogger and growing up she and her sister were “always involved.” She notes, “It (stinks) because there's so much ou(t) there about us and it's what's gonna come up when I'm looking for a job, when I'm dating, when anyone looks up my name.” The teen's response? A website that prints custom shirts and jackets - where she ordered hoodies printed with phrases like “i do not consent to be photographed" and "respect my privacy."

She’s taken to wearing them all the time, her mom isn't happy - and she's fed up “I am just so... upset that my mom is mad at me for wearing my new hoodie everyday,” the girl writes. “She's mad I won't take it off for any event…I know it's really weird looking but it feels like my only option.”
